Otherwise, memorise this key combination - Command + Option + Power Button - and use that to sleep your system if you have an unresponsive screensaver. You’ll now be in your Mac’s screen saver menu. Schedule a startup or wake time for your Mac: Select the Start up or wake checkbox. Type or copy and paste the following file path into the text box that appears: /System/Library/Screen Savers/. On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Energy Saver, then click Schedule. You can also try installing the macOS 11.2 Big Sur beta, which reportedly fixes the problem for good.
